Personal - Volkswagen CC

This render was the result of some insomnia Sunday night. Between deciding on watching the South Park movie, or the Simpsons movie, I came up with a better idea: to do some work, lol. I wanted to put together an in motion render, as I really enjoy doing those. I really like how this render turned out. I think it is one of the better ones that I have put together.

Thanks to Moofe (www.moofe.com) for the HDR environment. Feedback is appreciated as always.

Personal - Chevelle

Once again it has been a busy past few weeks and I have not had a chance to do any personal work. I found a few hours today to throw something together with my Chevelle. I modeled this vehicle some time ago and I love getting a chance to use it. Classic American muscle. Hope you like it!

Thanks to SMCars (www.smcars.net) for the HDR environment. Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks!

Personal - Nascar

So it has been quite some time since I have posted a render. I have been busy with work and have not have a chance to do any personal work. A couple of days ago a friend of mine showed me a cool Nascar model from TurboSquid (www.turbosquid.com) and I decided that I would try a renders with it since it was something a little different (and I had some spare time finally :P).

Here is a stills I put together in a few hours today. Thanks to Moofe (www.moofe.com) for the HDR environment. Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks!

Personal - 2013 SRT Viper

When I was 10 years old, I laid my eyes on a 1993 Dodge Viper RT/10. That day changed my life. Ever since then it was my dream car. In 2003, they redesigned the Viper and in my opinion, it lost its 'muscle'. It was a little heart breaking.

Well. 10 years later. The 'muscle' is back. For the 2013 SRT Viper (a new brand of Dodge) they went back to its roots. I am back in love. I did a couple of different lighting setups for these renders including an HDR Environment setup (courtesy of SMCars.net), as well as a studio lighting setup. I explored a few color options that I thought worked nicely. I think the red with the black stripes looks insane. The model was purchased from 3d02.com. Thanks.

Personal - BMW X6

Today, the great people over at SMCars decided to release another free HDR Environment set. I thought to myself, what better way to test out the new location other than spending a Sunday working on a render. Well here is it. I dug up an older BMW X6 model that I have not used before and began setting up the shaders and prepping the model for showtime. I developed a creative for an angle I liked and went to town. The direction was to match the look and feel of some of the renders that are up on BMW's website. Hope you like it!

Personal - Pontiac G8

Long story short, thanks to a recommendation by my friend Pete, which then turned into a recommendation by my new friend Nick, I ended up with an opportunity to do an art test for Acme Digital Content, a Los Angeles based studio that provides 3D vehicles for top notch games like Forza and Need for Speed to name a couple, as well as films and commercials. The art test included texturing and UV mapping a low res interior, a high res interior, as well as the mid res exterior.

I did a little bit of extra work (as usual) and put together a neat render. Thanks to Moofe (www.moofe.com) for the free HDR Environments.

Here is a quick render of the mid res interior as well. Comments are always appreciated. Thanks!

We also created a full 3D Steroscopic city where the customer could drive a Toyota through the city to discover various discounts which they could redeem at the dealership. I was responsible for numerous areas of the project including modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
